A BIG Lottery Fund grant received in 2010 has allowed chefs at a newly transformed tea room to use their home-grown produce for their new menu.
After initially selling their produce in the visitor centre, Kelmarsh Hall is now able to use some of the fruits and vegetables grown in its kitchen garden for meals.
The tea room at Kelmarsh Hall has recently undergone a refurbishment and will re-open on Easter Sunday with a brand new menu, including Kelmarsh Afternoon Tea for Two.
It will be open along with the gardens on Tuesdays to Thursdays and Sundays, plus bank holidays every week until September 27, serving suppers on Thursday evenings until 9pm with specially-themed menus.
To book a table for Thursday evening supper call 01604 686709, or for more information on upcoming events at Kelmarsh Hall call 01604 686543.
