Talented dancers, actors, animators and singers will be taking to the stage for the Corby Youth

Arts Slam.

The Slam showcases the original work developed by young people at the weekly workshops, Moves, Sparks, Clicks and Musical Theatre, which are part of the term-time Get Involved programme.

Moves is led by world renowned B-boy Mickael ‘Marso’ Riviere; the youngsters involved in Sparks will be sharing their creative drama piece; Clicks, led by Andy Eathorne, will be screening their animations throughout the evening, and the Musical Theatre group hope to bring the house down with a Disney meets The Wizard Of Oz medley.

Creative project manager, Lisa Byrne, said: “The atmosphere at the Slams is always brilliant and we can’t wait to share this year’s show with audiences. We are so proud of all the young people in the Slam, how talented they are and the improvement they make each term.”

The Corby Youth Arts Slam is on Thursday, March 28, at 7.30pm. Tickets are £5 and can be booked by calling the ticket office on 01536 470 470 or by visiting www.thecorecorby.com.
