Families who have been inspired by the Olympics can take part in a special challenge at a popular countryside park.

Throughout the summer holidays Stanwick Lakes is challenging visitors to jog, walk or skip the Stanwick Lakes mile, scramble over the assault course, explore the adventure trail and cycle or paddle around a lake.

The challenge has been organised to celebrate the Olympics and is designed to give people the chance to try out five different fun activities for all the family and keep them fit and healthy.

Anyone who completes three or more of the activities will be awarded a Stanwick Lakes Olympic Medal.

To take part, all you need to do is buy an Olympic Challenge leaflet from the Stanwick Lakes visitor centre for £2.

The leaflet will tell you all about the activities, and how to claim your medal once you have completed the challenge. One medal is available per leaflet.
