Tours of Kettering Science Academy’s new £26m building are being held for families looking to apply for a place at its secondary phase.

Up until October 11, there will be tours with principal Martin Campbell at 9am on Tuesdays and 2pm on Thursdays.

Between October 15 and October 18, there will be tours every day at 9am and 2pm.

There will also be an open evening at the academy on Tuesday, October 16, at 6pm.

Mr Campbell said: “We’re delighted to have moved into our new building, which marks an important development for Kettering Science Academy.

“We’ve already seen the fantastic reaction from our current pupils when they walked through the doors for the first time – now it’s the turn of local families to see what is on offer and what has been achieved at Kettering Science Academy in the last three years.

“I look forward to welcoming prospective pupils at our open evening.”

Tours must be booked in advance by calling the academy on 01536 483386 or 01536 532700 to book a place.

A community open evening is also coming up – members of the public will have the chance to look around the academy’s building at an open evening on Wednesday, November 7, between 6pm and 8pm.
