A summer Safety Day will be held for families at Stanwick Lakes.
The event has been organised by the East Northamptonshire Community Safety Partnership and will give families the chance to meet police officers, make non-alcoholic cocktails, sign up for DogWatch, learn how finger prints are taken and have fun with the SureStart team in the messy play area.
There will also be lots of advice and information on offer to keep families safe over the summer at the event on Saturday, July 28.
Partnership chairman Superintendent Gary Ashton, said: “The Summer Safety Day is a wonderful community event and a great opportunity for families to learn about safety and have fun at the same time.
“It all kicks off at 10am so bring the kids and find out what the partnership has been doing over the past 12 months to keep East Northamptonshire a safer place to live, work and visit.
“If there’s anything you’re worried about where you live, this is your chance to let us know. There’ll be lots of entertainment as well as advice from the people whose job it is to help you keep safe.”
