Corby Safer Community Team and other partner agencies carried out a JAG 4 All event last week to speak to residents in the town about local concerns and issues they may have.

The JAG 4 All events help the police, partners and the community decide on the local policing priorities for the coming months.

One of the issues highlighted at last week’s event, which officers were able to deal with quickly, related to motorists ignoring traffic regulations along George Street.

PC Chris Vickers and PCSO Helen Murray carried out additional traffic patrols in response to the ongoing concerns about irresponsible driving along this street and, as a result, three motorists were issued with penalty notices.

PC Vickers said: “Local residents have raised concerns around inconsiderate driving on the roads and we will continue to carry out checks in those areas identified as a concern, to help make the area a safe and pleasant environment for the local community.”
