A yob damaged several cars after throwing stones from a railway track.

A number of vehicles were damaged when stones were thrown into a car park in Geddington Road, Corby, yesterday.

The stones were hurled into the car park at Gefco UK from the adjacent railway track sometime between 10.30am and 2pm on Monday.

A police spokesman said: “Access to the track would have been from either the rear of the new Tesco in St James Road, or from the footpath on Longcroft Road.

“Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed this incident or who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously near the railway line.”
