The Stig from Top Gear has been in Finedon this afternoon (Sunday, November 25) to lend his support to a charity event held at Ken’s Diner in aid of the victims of Hurricane Sandy.
A classic car show is being held at the venue, off the A6, Finedon, and there’s entertainment for all ages.
The Stig arrived at 1pm and he posed for pictures with visitors.
Mark Thompson, owner of Ken’s Diner, organised the charity day because he has close connections to the area after living in New Jersey for a number of years.
Mr Thompson said: “It’s a charity day to help victims of Hurricane Sandy. I’ve lived there on and off since I was nine-years-old.”
Mr Thompson opened Ken’s Diner in Finedon in July. The Authentic American restaurant boasts a limousine in which diners can seat and eat their meal.
