POLICE detected 11 offences during a speeding crackdown in villages.
Officers in East Northamptonshire tackled speeding in hot spot locations in Stanion Road in Brigstock, Barnwell, Thurning, Luddington Hemmington and Station Road in Nassington.
The officers conducted four hours of speed enforcement and issued warning letters to motorists following the offences.
Sergeant Phil Holton, of East Northants North Safer Community Team, warned drivers to abide by the limit.
He said: “I would ask all drivers to respect the speed limit – remember that it’s 30mph for a reason in our villages and avoid a fine and three points on your driving licence.”
