A GROUP of singers is hoping to be in good voice when it performs at a charity fundraiing event.
Singers from Vocal Chord Singing Studio in Hawthorn Road, Kettering, will be performing at the Rothwell Trinity Church, in the town’s High Street today.
The concert is to raise money for Cransley Hospice and the church’s organ restoration fund.
The singing school’s principal Carly-Jayne Panter, said: “Cransley Hospice is such a worthwhile local cause and it’s our nominated charity.
“We raised about £1,000 for the charity last year, and hopefully we can do the same this year.
“All of the group are really excited to perform, and some of them are as young as six years old, so it’s a good confidence booster for them.
“People can come along and hear some fantastic music, it will be a great night.”
The organisers are expecting at least 50 people at the church to watch the concert.
Admission on the door is priced at £1 for adults and 50p for children.
The fundraising concert takes place from 4pm.
