Fundraisers are invited to sign up for the Corby Mile to support Sport Relief.

Organised by the borough council and Corby Athletics Club, the event, at Rockingham Triangle on Sunday, March 23, is open to everyone.

Entrants can run, walk, jump or jog their way round a one, three or six-mile course dressed as their sporting hero, or in sports gear.

Corby Council’s lead member for community, Cllr John McGhee, said: “As always, we aim to raise as much money as we possibly can for Sport Relief so hopefully lots of residents of all ages come along, sign up and dig deep for a brilliant cause and fun-filled event.”

The entrance fee is £6 for adults, £3 for a child and £15 for families and there will be a warm-up session at 11am on the day.

Everyone who takes part will receive a goody bag at the finishing line.
