Organisers of a dog show being held during this year’s Corby Walking Festival are hoping to attract cute puppies and even scruffy mutts.
Lakelands Hospice is organising the event on Monday, May 6, as part of a bank holiday family fun day at East Carlton Country Park.
Other categories will include waggiest tail, best veteran, best junior handler and dog most like its owner.
Community fundraiser at Lakelands Paul Marlow said: “We haven’t held a dog show for the hospice for a number of years and we are hoping for a bumper turn out.
“There will also be lots of family fun events such as crazy cycles, archery, Corby Silver Band, children’s rides, bouncy castles and display’s by Nene Valley Dance School.”
Corby Walking Festival is being held from May 4 to May 6, and, as well as the fun day, will feature a series of walks from long distance treks to shorter strolls.
There will also be themed walks on photography and history.

Admission to the dog show is £2 per category and registration will take place from midday on the day.
