Two women who love everything vintage are preparing to hold their second event in the county.

Ria Chambers from Wellingborough and Sarah Anscombe of Northampton have teamed up to launch Red Rose Vintage Events and following their successful first event at Stanwick in October, they are preparing for their second fair this weekend.

They are holding a Christmas gift fair between 11am and 3pm on Sunday, November 29, at the Vintage Retreat store in Lower Harding Street, Northampton.

It will be local traders selling vintage and hand-made items, including Red Admiral Vintage jewellery, Pearles Petals hair accessories, Beck Photographic gift packages, Julie Ann the Seamstress tailor-made items and wartime Christmas cakes and treats from Ria’s Rosy Lee tearoom.

The tearoom in Cambridge Street, Wellingborough, is also offering Christmas themed afternoon teas throughout December.

Ria who runs the tearoom said: “These are filling up so we are encouraging people to book as soon as possible.”

The festive menu includes Christmas Dundee cake, spiced Christmas tree shaped cake and Christmas tea and coffee.

All will be served with a Christmas napkin and cracker for £12 person.
