Scottish songwriter and folk music legend Brian McNeill is to perform at Gretton Village Hall.

The concert, sponsored by Northants Touring Arts, is on Tuesday, February 4, starting at 7.30pm.

Brian, described as Scotland’s most meaningful contemporary songwriter, has performed around the world as a solo artist and with The Battlefield Band, which he founded in 1969, Clan Alba and Feast of Fiddles.

The concert will feature a wall of instruments including fiddle, octave fiddle, guitars, mandocello, bouzouki and concertina.

Tickets are £10 and £8 for concessions and they are available from Andy Butterworth on 01536 770302, Gretton Post Office or on the door. There will be a bar.
