Stand-up comedian Kevin Bridges was spotted in Corby seeking views on the Scottish referendum on independence this week.

It is understood he was speaking to residents to get views from those in favour of independence and those who want to keep the Union in tact for a television programme to be broadcast before the vote on September 18.

He visited a pub in Corby and was also seen in the town centre.

Kevin is a regular on television, appearing in BBC1’s Live At the Apollo, Mock the Week and Would I Lie To You.

Only residents of Scotland are entitled to vote on independence but Corby residents had their say at the Highland Gathering in July in a mock referendum when they voted 414 against independence with 162 in favour.
