A primary school near Kettering has appealed for anyone with old photos or mementoes to lend them to the school for its 150th anniversary celebrations.
Loddington Church of England Primary School is marking a century and a half with a day of festivities on Thursday, July 4.
The school will be open to visitors all day – between 9am and 8pm. There will be a church service at St Leonard’s at 2pm, a cheese and wine evening between 6pm and 8pm and displays all day at the the Village Hall.
On Saturday, July 6 and Sunday, July 7, Loddington Flower Festival is taking place at St Leonard’s Church. Entry is by donation.
The theme is school days to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the school. There will also be adults’ and children’s quizzes, light lunches and afternoon tea, homemade produce, a raffle and a tombola.
