A range of Celtic delights are on offer at a tea room throughout January.

Ria’s Rosy Lee tea room in Cambridge Street, Wellingborough, is celebrating everything Scottish this month in honour of Hogmanay and Burns Night.

Customers can enjoy shortbread, tablet and Clootie dumpling as well as the Scottish blend tea which has been specially created by Irvin’s of High Street, Wellingborough, for the event.

Owner Ria Chambers, who is also an online columnist for the Northants Telegraph, said: “Scottish month is going well, the Scottish blend tea sold out in the first day it was so popular.

“The cakes are going well too.

“This week has been so busy I’ve had to treble my baking.”

Ria said another success from the event was she has had several new customers who are Scottish.
