Saints stars cut the ribbon at official opening of Earls Barton ice cream bar

Customers can cool off by popping into a new ice cream bar in Earls Barton.

Northampton Saints captain Tom Wood was joined by team-mates Alex Waller and Mike Haywood to cut the ribbon at the official opening of Jeylato’s yesterday (Monday).

Other special guests including Anna Murby from the Carlsberg UK Northamptonshire Food and Drink Awards attended the opening party for the latest addition to Jeyes of Earls Barton.

Jeylato’s is a new ice cream bar with a Tractor Ted activity area for children and is based within the family-run business on The Square.

Since opening in 1981, David and Georgina Jeyes along with their three children have expanded and developed their once traditional chemist shop into an Aladdin’s cave full of gifts, an award-winning coffee shop and various award-winning exhibitions.

Jeyes is open from 9am until 5pm Monday to Saturday.
