Enjoy the green spaces and villages around Corby with a guided bicycle ride.
The British Cycling Sky Ride Local programme is back and has been taking place around Northamptonshire over the past couple of weeks – and now it is Corby’s turn.
The popular programme of rides, guided by trained British Cycling ride leaders, kicked off on October 25 with routes so far taking place taking place in Northampton and East Northants.
Organised by British Cycling and Sky, in partnership with Northamptonshire Sport, Northamptonshire Highways and Northamptonshire County Council, Sky Ride Local offers local people the chance to join organised, guided rides of varying distances and difficulties.
The first ride to take place in Corby is at midday on Sunday, November 15, meeting at Lodge Park Sports Centre, Shetland Way, Corby.
This bike ride will be 17 miles long and full details can be found here.

Corby Council Cycling Champion Cllr Paul Beattie said: “Sky Ride Local is just one of the many ways British Cycling is encouraging people to get out on their bikes and we are very pleased to be part of the initiative again this year.
“Corby has some of the most beautiful green areas and villages so what better way to view them then while getting fresh air and exercise.”
