A Rushden dog agility team fought off nine rivals from all over the UK to win first place at the prestigious Crufts event on Saturday (March 12).

The dogs had to complete up to 20 obstacles including jumps, a wall, a frame, see-saw and dog walk without picking up any faults.

The team consisted of Donna Lewis and her dog Flora, Amanda Spinks and Jack, Wendy Gilpin and Spook and Julia Durrant with Parker.

The team were the only team to have four clear rounds with no faults and win first place at the event.
