SWIMMERS have raised money to help rid the world of Polio.
Members of the Provisional Rotary Club of Kettering Tresham took to the water at Balance Gym in Thurston Drive and managed to raise £45 as part of the Rotary Global Swimarathon.
They took it in turns to swim 100 metres and drum up cash for Rotary International’s End Polio Now campaign.
Andrea Crellin, president of the Kettering Tresham club, said: “We had 13 swimmers and we raised £45 so we were really pleased.”
The club will now hold a quiz night at Kettering Buccleuch Academy on Friday, March 30, to top up the total.
