Rock gig for charity

A MUSIC company started by young people is holding a night to raise money for a cancer charity tomorrow.

Rocked Up, which started in Corby last year, is holding the event for the Teenage Cancer Trust. Founder of Rocked Up Marc Collins, 23, of Brandenburg Road, Corby, said: “People have been so supportive of what we are doing, it would be nice to be able to support a cause that we believe in. We would like to try to do our part to help young people.”

The gig will start at 7.30pm at Corby Ex Servicemans Club in Lloyds Road and will feature Shandy Mac, A Farewell to Tyrants, Aurora Sun and The Flying Mandelas. Tickets are £4 on the door and all proceeds will go to charity.
