Robbers threaten man with kitchen knife

Two robbers threatened a man in his home with his own kitchen knife.

Sometime between 11pm on Friday, June 29, and the early hours of Saturday, June 30, a 40-year-old man returned home from a night out, leaving the property insecure.

Sometime after his arrival home, two men entered the property, took a knife from the kitchen and threatened him, demanding money.

The men made off with a small amount of cash and the victim’s car, a black Saab, registration FV55 SYH, which is still missing.

Both offenders were black, in their early 20s and one was wearing a red tracksuit. Both had white scarves across their faces.

The victim was not injured in the incident but was left shaken by it.

The incident happened in Phippsville Court, St Matthews Parade, Northampton.
