Robber threatens garage worker with knife

A MEMBER of staff at a garage was threatened with a knife during a robbery.

The incident happened between 11pm and 11.20pm at the Shell garage in Cottingham Road, Corby, on Saturday.

Two men used force to prise open the glass doors of the garage shop. A police spokesman said one of them threatened a member of staff with a knife and demanded money. The robbers were disturbed by passers-by and ran off empty-handed.

One of the men was white, in his early 20s, about 5ft 7ins, of medium build and was wearing a light grey hooded top. The other was white, in his late teens or early 20s and was wearing a black top.
