PEOPLE living in two roads in Wellingborough will be able to get their wheelie bins repaired and get help with marking their bins at an event next week.
Wellingborough Council’s environmental services team will visit Priory Road and Abbey Road in Wellingborough on Monday to get residents’ opinions on waste-related problems and offer advice on waste collection.
Practical sessions, including the bin marking and repairs, will also be run throughout the day.
Any bins which are no longer needed will be removed from the street in an effort to keep pavements clear.
The event has been planned following the success of similar events in Fulmar Lane and Jubilee Crescent.
A further event, focusing on Senwick Road, will take place on Monday, March 5.
Cllr Peter Morrall, chairman of the council’s community committee, said: “We’ve had great success with the first two events, which is why we’re making the project wider and covering more streets.”
