An evening of fun and food is being held at the Desborough Ritz next Saturday, November 29, to raise money to help pay for a school crossing patrol in Rothwell.
The evening event has been organised by Rothwell woman Clare Webster and the money made on the evening is being split between the Rushton Road crossing patrol in Rothwell and the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance.
Clare said: “We have a Rat Pack singer called Robert Craig performing on the evening and there will be a disco to follow.
“Robert is from Essex and he has performed at other events in the area before. He will also be performing some Elvis songs on the night.”
Tickets for the event, which includes a late disco, are £28.50 for a three-course dinner, or £12.50 for a finger buffet and seats on the balcony.
People on the balcony will be sat in booths but will still be able to see the entertainment which is taking place downstairs.
There will also be a fundraising raffle, with prizes including a tour of the air ambulance base and cream teas at the Desborough Ritz.
Clare said: “We would like to offer more raffle prizes and we’re appealing for any businesses who would like to donate one to get in touch.
“We have already sold lots of tickets and we want to make the night a big success.”
Tables of 10 to 12 people are available and single tickets are also now being sold.
