A review of polling districts and polling places in the Kettering area is due to be carried out.

Kettering Council says the review is a statutory process which has to be undertaken every five years.

A spokesman added: “Any changes that are introduced as a result of the review will be in place in time for the local government and parliamentary elections to be held on May 7 2015.”

A report on the existing provision is available from the Electoral Services Manager, Ian White, or on the Council’s website at www.kettering.gov.uk.

Mr White can be contacted on 01536 534200 or ianwhite@kettering.gov.uk.

The spokesman added: “The following people may make representations or comment in respect of any proposals relating to the review: any elector in the Kettering constituency or within Kettering Borough and any person or body with expertise in access for persons with any type of disability.

“Persons or bodies making representations should, if possible, identify alternative places that can be used for polling. Comments and representations may be made up until November 30.”
