REVEALED: New aerial pictures of Rushden Lakes released

These new aerial pictures of Rushden’s multi-million pound retail and leisure scheme have just been released.

They show how work is progressing on Rushden Lakes in preparation for the opening of the first phase of the site, which is due to be this summer.

The pictures have been released by The Crown Estate, which bought the site from the developer behind the scheme, LXB Retail Properties, although LXB remains involved in the development and will be delivering the retail and leisure proposals.

Names already confirmed for the site include House of Fraser, Marks & Spencer, H&M, Primark, River Island, Next, Joules and New Look.

The first phase of the Rushden Lakes development is due to open in July and will be followed by phase two of the scheme, which includes more shops, more restaurants and a 14-screen cinema.
