Rescue centre asks for help for animals at Christmas

Have your say

Animal rescue centre Animals in Need is asking people to support two Christmas initiatives.

It is asking people to make up a Christmas shoebox of goodies including food, treats, toys and a blanket or towel for the cats, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets, rats, chickens and birds that will spend Christmas in the sanctuary.

It is also holding a fundraising Christmas fair on Sunday, November 30, from midday to 3pm.

Admission is £1 and there will be various stalls including Lush and Hope Street cosmetics, a tombola and lucky dip, nearly new and cards and gifts.

Animals in Need is at Pine Tree Farm, Little Irchester. For more details go to or call 01933 278080.
