Services to remember those who have died in armed conflicts are being held at a village and an airfield.
The Royal British Legion will be holding a Remembrance Day service on Sunday, November 9, at 11am at the entrance to Spanhoe Airfield on the Harringworth to Laxton Road. The short service will be followed by the laying of wreaths at the memorial.
Later the same day, at 2.45pm, a parade led by Gretton Silver Band, members of the Royal British Legion, Gretton village organisations and members of the public will leave Gretton Recreation Ground and march through the village to St James’ Church for the Remembrance Day service, which starts at 3pm.
The service will be followed by a wreath laying ceremony at the war memorial on the village green.
Everyone is welcome to attend both services.
