Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses to a crash which left a cyclist with serious injuries.
The accident took place on the B571 Wellingborough Road near Irthlingborough at the end of last week.
It happened at about 11.10pm on Wednesday, 25 September, and involved a dark coloured Vauxhall car and cyclist.
A police spokesman said: “The driver of the car failed to stop at the scene. However both the vehicle and motorist have now been traced.
“The 58-year-old cyclist sustained serious injuries and remains in hospital.
“Police would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the collision or have any information regarding it.”
