Raising cash for animal charity

A SHOP in Rushden has chosen to raise cash for Little Irchester-based charity Animals in Need during 2012.

The Original Factory Shop in Rushden has chosen the animal charity as its charity partner for the year after it appealed to the community to nominate local causes.

A programme of fundraising activity is planned, with a minimum target of £500 to be raised.

Store manager Ruth Edwards said: “Once again, we had a lot of local causes come forward asking for our support.

“On behalf of all of us at The Original Factory Shop, I would like to sincerely thank all the charities who applied to be our partner.

“It wasn’t an easy decision at all, but after considering each application thoroughly, we thought that it would be great to carry on with the work we started for Animals In Need.

“I’m sure our customers will once again be right behind us and help us raise much-needed funds.”
