There were celebrations at Wollaston School when pupils picked up their A Level results this morning.
Pupil Jonathan Spittles, of Irchester, will read natural sciences at Trinity Hall, Cambridge, after he got A* grades in A Level chemistry, maths and physics, and an A in biology.
Joel Ansell, of Earls Barton, got A* grades in French and georgraphy, an A in sociology and a B in religious studies. He has got a place studying languages at Southampton University.
And Gina Loizou, of Earls Barton, will study chemical engineering at Aston University after getting As in maths and physics and a B in chemistry.
Wollaston School headteacher Michael Browne said: “It was a positive morning for us, lots of students got into their first choice universities. It was a very happy atmosphere.”
