Wellingborough School pupils have celebrated achieving a good set of GCSE results.
Smiles were on the faces of pupils as they collected their results from the Irthlingborough Road school this morning.
Headteacher Garry Bowe said: “The results were good. They were similar to the last couple of years, which we were quite pleased with.
“We were particularly pleased with the performance in IGCSEs, which is a more traditional GCSE course, or more like the traditional O-level. We are very pleased with how these went.”
Lauren Arnott, 17, of Rushden, who got two A*s, four A and four B grades, said: “I am very happy with my results. I did a lot of work and I am going to celebrate by going out for a family lunch.”
