Potentially lethal drugs have been stolen from a house in Burton Latimer.

The burglary took place in the Queensway area of the town early on Sunday, October 26.

The offenders broke into the house and stole a number of extremely strong and potentially lethal prescription drugs some time between 12.30am and 6am.

Northants Police say if the drugs are used by anyone other than the person they were prescribed for, they can cause serious harm and in some cases may prove to be fatal.

If any drugs are found they should be handed in to a chemist, doctors surgery or hospital and the police should be contacted.
