Kettering Town are gathering views on their new ground at an open event at the Crescent Community Centre in Laburnum Crescent this evening (Monday, July 28).
The Poppies announced plans last week to take over the former Avondale School site alongside an unnamed healthcare partner.
As part of the scheme the club will build a 500-seat stand behind the existing school building and install terracing at either end of the pitch, behind the goals.
The event began at 2pm and is due to conclude at 8pm. Residents are being invited to fill in a comment form.
Club chairman Ritchie Jeune is at the event and is available to speak to visitors about the plans.
He said: “The feedback we have had so far has been about fity-fifty.
“Some people have said they are concerned about car parking, but we will have somewhere between 150 and 180 car parking spaces at the site, and there have been some comments about anti-social behaviour, but we have made it clear that people who have been drinking would not get into the ground in the first place.”
While the consultation is an open event, Mr Jeune said only people living on streets adjacent to the proposed ground will be able to fill in comment forms.
