A meeting of Northamptonshire County Council’s cabinet on Tuesday, December 11, to discuss the organisation’s draft budget will be broadcast online.
Viewers will be able to observe the discussion of the county’s draft budget proposals as well as the other items on the agenda including proposed new contracts to save millions by diverting waste from landfill and the proposed closure of Braybrooke School.
Deputy Leader Joan Kirkbride said: “Our cabinet meetings have been webcast for well over a year now. While all our cabinet meetings deal with issues that are important to the county and our residents, I would particularly encourage people who can’t attend Tuesday’s meeting to watch it online or play it back at a convenient time.”
The cabinet meeting starts at 2pm and the webcast can be accessed by visiting the council’s website and following the link on the home page.
Webcasts are archived and available to view after the meetings.
