Plans to demolish pub and build homes for disabled adults

Plans to demolish a pub and build homes for disabled adults have been submitted to Wellingborough Council.

Seagrave Developments Ltd wants to knock down the Prince of Wales, Croyland Road, Wellingborough, and replace it with a residential care scheme for disabled adults.

The proposed new building would be part two storey and part three storey, with parking provision and vehicle access from Monks Way.

In 2010 the council approved plans for the Prince of Wales to knocked down and turned into six flats and eight houses, but the scheme never went ahead.
