Police are investigating a spate of crime on an allotments in Kettering after being called to a number of incidents in the past month.
Officers are appealing for information about a shed burglary and incidents of criminal damage at the allotments in Margaret Road, Kettering.
On Saturday, June 22, between 5pm and 6pm, offenders broke into the allotments, entered an unlocked chicken pen and stole two chickens.
On Sunday, June 16, between 4.30pm and 7pm, offenders again broke into the allotments and caused damage to a chicken nesting box. Four chickens were found to be missing, having either escaped or been stolen.
Police are also investigating a burglary. Some time between 8pm on Friday, June 14, and 8am on Saturday, June 15, a shed was broken into and various items were stolen.
