A shop owner was attacked in his business in Kettering last week, police have revealed.

Officers are appealing for witnesses to the assault, which happened at the Euro Discount Store in Lindsay Street, Kettering, on Friday, December 6, at around 5.35pm.

A customer went in to the shop to challenge a recent sale. During the discussion, another man began a verbal attack against the shop owner. The man then punched the shop owner before leaving the shop.

The offender is described as a white man, aged between 25 and 30, with a large muscular build.

Witnesses to this incident, or anyone with information, should call Northamptonshire Police on 101. Alternatively, information can be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
