Corby Amateur Theatrical Society has launched its latest production.
Happy Days - A New Musical opened last night at the Corby Core and will run until Saturday, June 9.
It is based on the American television series starring Richie, Potsie, Ralph Malph and the unforgettable ‘king of cool’ Arthur ‘The Fonz’ Fonzarelli.
Local hangout Arnold’s is in danger of demolition, so the gang teams up to save it with a dance contest and TV-worthy wrestling match.
Chuck Middleton, who plays The Fonz, said: “CATS are proud to be the first am dram society to open this wonderful new production, which was written by the original writers of the TV show Happy Days.
“Interest has been high for this joyful show, which that features all the main characters from the TV show.”
Corby Amateur Theatrical Society has been staging productions in the area for more than 50 years.
All shows are at 7.30pm and tickets are still available by calling 01536 470470. They are £12 for adults, £10 concessions and £8 restricted view.
