Plea for witnesses after car park attack

Police are appealing for witnesses after an attack in the car park of the Asda store in Corby.

A 19-year-old man from Corby was in his car when the attacker knocked on the window.

The victim opened the car door and he was pulled out and punched several times.

The attack happened on Friday, June 22, between 8.20pm and 9.05pm and the offender is described as a white man, aged between 45 and 50, medium built, with short grey hair.

Three young men in their 20s and a woman came to the victim’s assistance and the family would like to pass on their thanks.

Witnesses to the incident are asked to call the police on 101, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
