Five planes were spotted flying in formation in the skies above Northamptonshire this morning.
Members of the public spotted and photographed the planes earlier this morning which took off from Sywell and flew towards Corby.
2Excel Aviation confirmed that the planes were part of an industry day at Sywell Aerodrome where it is based.
The large plane was a boeing 727 while the four smaller planes were extra 300s and were part of the Blades Aerobatic Display Team.
A spokesman for 2Excel Aviation said: “We’re having an industry day here at Sywell. The formation that people saw were for an airborne photoshoot. It lasted about five minutes.”
