Person cut from their car by fire service after accident

A person was cut from their car by the fire service in the early hours of Friday morning, after becoming trapped in it after an accident.

Just before 3am on Friday morning, one car was involved in the accident on John Clark Way, in Rushden.

One fire crew from Rushden, one from Irthlingborough, and the technical rescue vehicle from Moulton, attended the scene and released the person who was trapped in their car.

They were released by 3.33am and left in the care of the ambulance service.
