People have been getting the jubilee celebrations started at events across the county today (Saturday, June 2).
A jubilee event took place at Wellingborough Museum, complete with old fashioned fairground games and attractions including a coconut shie, hoopla and hook-a-duck. Youngsters from the Gold Starz dance group also did a performance.
A jubilee picnic in the park took place at Wilby playing fields.
People enjoyed a jubilee picnic and live music at Rockingham Road Pleasure Park in Kettering. The event will continue tomorrow (Sunday, June 3) from 3pm to 5pm and admission is free.
A jubilee afternoon tea was held at St Mark’s Church Hall, Queensway, Wellingborough.
The celebrations are set to continue tomorrow (Sunday, June 3).
A huge diamond jubilee celebration is set to take place in Corby town centre from midday until 3pm.
Various street parties are also set to take place in Wellingborough and Corby.
