The incident took place in Stamford Road, near the George pub, just after 3pm this afternoon (Monday, November 24).

Roads around the village have been closed while the emergency services deal with the collision.

The pedestrian was airlifted to Walsgrave Hospital in Coventry at about 4.05pm, a police spokesman said.
