A brave duo are to have their heads shaved at the Shire Horse pub in Corby at 1pm this Sunday in support of their cousin who is undergoing chemotherapy for type four brain cancer.

Charlene Saunderson and 10-year-old Safie Anderson will be trimmed by hairdresser Hayley Nicol, of Hair by Hayley. They were inspired to take up the challenge after their cousin, 36-year-old Catherine Anderson, who grew up in Corby and now lives in Uppingham, began chemotherapy treatment earlier this week, following her diagnosis in August last year.

A large crowd is expected at the pub for the shave, and donations will be collected.
