Children made Olympic torches and medals at a special Olympic open day held at Kiddi Caru nursery in Wellingborough.
Nursery practitioner Jason Nichol and two-year-old Archie Walker are pictured after having their faces painted.
Children also took part in sporting activities and a fundraising tombola was held in aid of Niamh’s Next Step.
Deputy manager Alysha Bannister said: “The day was wet but that didn’t stop us. We had the Mini Strikers organisation in doing physical activities with the children in the garden, along with a fruit stand and an ice cream stall.
“The children also got creative by taking part various activities, including indoor football with paint. We also held a tombola and raised a further £88 to add towards our running total for the charity Niamh’s Next Step.”
