A special garden in Corby has been unveiled after two years of hard work.

The Friends of Coronation Park in Corby were behind the project, which was officially opened by Corby mayor
Anthony Dady, MP Andy Sawford and Susan Lowe, chairman of the sensory garden committee behind the project.

The garden project received a huge boost in late 2013 when it was handed a £50,000 Lottery grant through the People’s Millions scheme.

Since then the area has been fully landscaped and now includes a scented area, an area with musical instruments, a tactile area and an area that depicts movement.

Some planting has already taken place and the garden will be completed next spring.
