All three sitting MPs in north Northamptonshire will hold their seats at the next General Election, say bookies.

Ladbrokes has released its odds for all of the county’s seven seats, with the Conservatives odds on to hold Kettering – held by Philip Hollobone – and Wellingborough, held by Peter Bone.

In both seats, the Tories are priced at 1/16.

Labour’s Andy Sawford has odds of 1/8 about retaining Corby and East Northants, the seat he won in a 2012 by-election.

Tom Pursglove, the Tory candidate for Corby, is priced at 4/1 to regain the constituency, while UKIP has odds of 25/1.

In Kettering, Labour candidate Rhea Keehn has been given odds of 10/1, with UKIP – which did not stand against Mr Hollobone at the 2010 General Election – priced at 16/1.

UKIP is rated as second favourites to win Wellingborough and Rushden, again with odds of 16/1, while Labour’s Richard Garvie has odds of 20/1.

In all three seats in north Northamptonshire, the Liberal Democrats are rank outsiders with odds of 100/1.
